Classification of Deviated Nose
The deviation is classified as C-shape (unidirectional curve), S-shape (bilateral curvature) or oblique (diagonal). The anatomical basis and surgical approach differ for each type. The degree and type of deviation are determined using the midline reference (glabella-philtrum) on frontal view; wide-angle photography under asymmetric lighting facilitates diagnosis.
